Manatee County is hosting a Public Information Meeting for the upcoming Bradenton Beach Sewer Rehabilitation project on Gulf Drive from 6th Street South to 13th Street South. The meeting will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at the City of Bradenton Beach City Hall, 107 Gulf Drive North, Bradenton Beach, 34217.

This project will replace and relocate a portion of the gravity-collection system on South Bradenton Beach to new locations within the public right-of-way. The replacement of aging sewer infrastructure will improve the resiliency of the sewer system by increasing capacity and reducing the risk of pipe failures and leaks.

The public meeting will provide the public an opportunity to learn more about the project by viewing design boards and plans. Project staff will also be on hand to answer questions and provide other project-related information. There will be no formal presentation, and guests may arrive any time between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability or family status. Persons who require special accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act should contact Carmine DeMilio, Manatee County ADA Coordinator, by phone at (941) 792-8784, ext. 8203, or email at Carmine.Demilio@mymanatee.org at least five days prior to the public meeting. Persons who require translation services (free of charge) should contact Alice Ramos at (941) 306-4660 or by email at alice@valerin-group.com at least five days prior to the public meeting.
