Carson Cooper, a former standout at IMG Academy, played a key role in the Michigan State Spartans’ 76-74 victory against the Purdue Boilermakers on Thursday, Feb. 26.
The 6-foot-11 senior center tallied 15 points, six rebounds and an assist over 29 minutes on the court.
Cooper and the Spartans are set to face the Indiana Hoosiers away on Sunday, March 1, at 3:45 p.m.
During the week beginning Monday, April 27, these former Greater Manatee area high school athletes will be in action.
Sunday, April 26 will see these former Greater Manatee area high school stars in competition.
