The lowest reported price for regular gas in Hardee County was $2.79 per gallon during the week ending Feb. 7, available at one gas station, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
The county registered an average of $2.88 per gallon for regular gas.
Hardee County had eight of 14 reported gas stations offering regular gas.
Across Florida, the average reported price for a gallon of regular gas fell to $2.84, compared to the week before.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
