Later that day, Buchanan expressed gratitude towards his D.C. interns. He tweeted a special thank you to Neo and Carolina for their dedication over recent months. “It’s a pleasure of mine to host Florida students in our nation’s capital,” he wrote, expressing optimism about their future career paths. “I want to extend a special thank you to my D.C. interns, Neo and Carolina, for their hard work over the past few months.”
In another tweet on May 9th, Buchanan paid tribute to military spouses by acknowledging their strength and resilience. He emphasized that behind every service member is a family contributing significantly through their support roles. “Today, we honor the strength, sacrifice and resilience of our military spouses.”
