State College of Florida-Manatee-Sarasota recently issued the following announcement.
State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota’s (SCF) Communication and Marketing department welcomes Ashley Millett to the role of graphic design intern. Millett is preparing to
graduate from SCF in May with an associate degree in graphic design technology. She previously worked as a student employee with the College Reach-Out Program (CROP).
During the internship, Millett is honing her skills in Adobe products and Quark while gaining valuable experience collaborating as a member of the design team. She has already
produced print-ready rack cards and flyers and will continue to bolster her portfolio of completed projects throughout the semester. She plans to enter the workforce after
graduation.
“I’m excited to have this opportunity to develop my skills in a professional environment,” Millett said. “I’m learning so much from the professional designers and everyone in the
department has made me feel welcome.”
