SCF Theatre Presents Rich Orloff’s “Nothing Serious”

State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota’s (SCF) Theatre Program will present Rich Orloff’s “Nothing Serious” at 8 p.m. Sept. 23, 24, and 30, and Oct. 1, with 2 p.m. matinees, Sept. 25 and Oct. 2. The show will take place in the Howard Studio Theatre at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W., Building 11 West, Room 163.

“Nothing Serious” is a collection of Orloff’s most popular and acclaimed 10-minute comedies. The theatrical performances will explore imaginative and hilarious locales, including Antarctica, Disneyland, the Garden of Eden, and inside the womb.

The play is directed by Amanda Schlachter, SCF assistant professor of theatre, with assistant director Victoria Flounders. Element design conducted by Craig Smith, Timothy Bourn, Kenji Trujillo, and Ethan Fuhrmeister.

The cast and crew of SCF students and faculty include: William Ashburn, Christopher Byler, Erika Campbell, Sarah Chowdhury, Samuel Echevarria, Jean Felicita, Thomas Finn, Flounders, Fuhrmeister, Nicholas Furguson, Starr Mandell, Martin Nichols, Sofia Radbach, and Elizabeth Sorba.
