Rebuild Florida General Infrastructure Program Grant Application - Wastewater System Improvements Project
The City of Wauchula intends to apply for funding assistance from the Rebuild Florida General Infrastructure Program as a part of the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) Community Development Block Grant – Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) program for the City’s Wastewater System Improvements Project. The project will include construction of a levee around the City’s Wastewater Treatment Plant for stormwater protection and the purchase and installation of 15 lift station generators.
The estimated cost to complete the Wastewater System Improvements Project is $550,271. It is the City’s intent to request these funds from the CDBG-MIT grant program.
Interested parties may obtain a draft of the proposed CDBG-MIT application or provide comments regarding this project by emailing Olivia Minshew, Assistant City Manager at ominshew@cityofwauchula.com. All comments must be received by close of business on Friday, September 11, 2020.
