Manatee County School District issued the following announcement.
The School District of Manatee County is encouraging all high school juniors and seniors to participate in this year’s Virtual College and Career Fair. Beginning September 8th, students will be interacting virtually with representatives from dozens of colleges, universities and technical schools using Microsoft Teams. Representatives will be able to answer questions about their respective post-secondary schools and provide information to help families make informed choices about their child’s future. Live sessions will be held through November 3rd. Students are encouraged to contact their College and Career Advisor for details about how to participate.

The School District of Manatee County is seeking volunteers who are willing to assist parents and students with the completion of the FAFSA for Federal Student Aid.
The completion of the FAFSA can open doors for many students as they transition from high school to post-secondary education.
The success of our students will benefit our community in many ways.
