EWU Unveils 2021 Women's Soccer Slate.

Edward Waters College Athletics issued the following announcement on July 27.

After playing an abbreviated Spring season due to the COVID-19 global pandemic, second year Edward Waters Women's Soccer head coach Stephen Peck, Jr. is excited to announce the Lady Tigers' schedule for the upcoming 2021 campaign.

The 19-game slate will begin with a preseason matchup on the road against Florida Tech in Melbourne on August 14th at 3pm. The regular season will kickoff with four consecutive road games, starting on August 25th at Columbia International in Columbia, S. C. at 7pm. The Purple & Orange will remain in Columbia for a tilt with Columbia College on August 27th at 3pm.

September for the Purple & Orange will begin on the 2nd in Lakeland against Florida Southern at 7pm. The season opening road trip concludes on September 4th against Polk State College in an exhibition matchup in Winter Haven at 4pm. 

EWU will then begin a five-game home stand on Thursday, September 9th with a 7pm kickoff against Webber International at the new Community Field & Stadium. The Lady Tigers then welcome Florida National to Jacksonville on September 13th at 3pm. New SIAC rival Albany State will come to the 904 on September 16th at 4pm. The Purple & Orange will take on Florida Memorial on September 19th at 2pm, then will close the home stand on September 22nd against another new SIAC foe, Allen University at 4pm. The month will conclude with the first ever crosstown soccer tilt against Trinity Baptist on September 25th at 1:00pm at TBC's campus on Jacksonville's Westside. 

Edward Waters begins October at home on the 1st with their second meeting with Polk State in another exhibition contest starting at 4pm. Back-to-back road trips will greet the Lady Tigers starting on October 6th in Americus, GA against Georgia Southwestern State at 7pm, then on the 10th with another matchup against Allen, this time in Columbia at 2pm. EWU will conclude the home portion of their schedule with a three-game home stand starting on October 14th vs. Talladega at 7pm, October 17th vs. Bluefield State at 2pm, and Bob Jones University on October 22nd at 7pm (The Bob Jones game will take place at Patton Park). The Lady Tigers will wrap up the 2021 campaign on the road in South Florida with back-to-back road contests. On October 25th, EWU will face Florida Memorial in Miami Gardens at 11am, and the season ends on October 27th against Florida National.
