Hardee County Schools issued the following announcement on Sept. 20.
The Hardee County Chamber of Commerce recognizes and celebrates a Hardee County High School student who exhibits integrity, honor, loyalty in academic excellence, involvement in student activities, athletics, and community service.
The Student of the Month for September is EMMA HAYS. Emma is an exceptional young woman, committed to excellence in every area of her life. She is an active member of Alpha Zeta Pi and the Leader of SALT, a Christian-based, student-led organization. She is the kind of student that every teacher desires to have in their classes, working hard to maintain a high GPA.
