CF Notice of Proposed Fee Adoption and Amendment

 State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota issued the following announcement on Aug. 27

State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota’s (SCF) District Board of Trustees will consider amendments to and adoption of fees pertaining to its student programs at a public meeting scheduled at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2021, at SCF Bradenton, 5830 26th St. W., Bradenton, Building 7, Room 160.

As authorized under Section 1009.23 of the Florida statutes, fee eliminations are proposed for courses in the Division of Art, Design and Humanities and the Division of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Eliminating the refund of the application fee to apply it toward and therefore eliminating the existing graduation fee. Also proposed are fee increases for the Health Professions programs application to standardize across all disciplines and creating a credit card convenience fee to offset the effect of vendor charges for rebates, miles, cash back, etc. The proposed changes are as follows:
