I am hopeful Congress can include my bill in the final upcoming #NDAA."

On December 6, 2024, he remarked on social media about America's health expenditure compared to its life expectancy ranking: "Truly shocking and heartbreaking. Despite spending trillions of dollars more on healthcare than other developed nations, the U.S. is on course to be 66th in life expectancy. We need to start addressing the root causes of what is leading Americans to be sicker and die sooner."
On December 7, 2024, Buchanan commemorated Pearl Harbor Day by paying tribute to those who sacrificed their lives during the attack. He wrote: "Today, we honor the bravery and sacrifice of the men and women who gave their lives in service of their country at Pearl Harbor 83 years ago. We remember the fallen heroes and reaffirm our commitment to defending freedom and liberty. May we never forget their courage."
